Which Element do you think the Avatar was first, like in the cycle. of the Avatar which element do you think began it all? I think it might be Air, because Air was like the first element ever. Well no because there was water well then again Earth could have been I mean why else would our planet be called Earth But also how would our Earth have been made if it wasn't for Fire? Gahhh, hmmmmmmmm, why do you think?

i have to say Air cause in the flashback of aang they look pretty siviliciezed and advance, cause they hade castle and games and all establish but the again ::)

........okay i dont have a clue wich was the first element

whatever the first element in the cycle is witch i think is air would be the first i think

I'd have to say it was air too. . .I don't know exactly why I do, but I have a strong feeling that it is air. Maybe because the creators of the show had portrayed Aang as "The Last Airbender" not "The Last Earthbender", "The Last Fire Bender",or "The Last Waterbender". I don't know if that truly has any significance, but it seems like it is (ish) for me.

I would say Earth simply because Earth represents Springtime in the cycle which traditionally represents beginnings.
And Aang being portrayed as the last airbender doesn't really prove anything as he literally is the last of those people, airbenders where the next in the cycle so firebenders wiped them out, it doesn't really have anything to do with how the Avatar line started.

The Cycle and the Seasons
Air(Fall)
Water(Winter)
Earth(Spring)
Fire(Summer)
